BS : Wow!!!!,..........7 days in the jungle........4 campsites.....96 hrs food rations.......oc night......bath in 5th day.....rain in 6 out of 7 days......trench digging.....glory return.....tat's all the stuffs inside the 7 days field camp i went thru.....it was fantastic....outstanding....and fun filled.....well learnt loads of army stuffs.....knowledge....technical know-how....but the experience was really out of this world.....7 days without phone sms with dear was hard to went thru but we did.....Cheers Dear xiaoyan.....know yr past week was like shit....filled wif sadist stuffs and depression....well......fret not.....they end NOW!!! Because I'm Back...mighty Taurus Warriors.....REC SHEE BOON SUN.....haha.....well....let me take u thru the 7 days of my field camp before i comment on anything else.....Let's Go!!! ------
Day Before Field Camp: Arrive at tekong around 8 plus...still gotta help out to bring all the outfield essentials load to tunner....the big big trunk....packed our field pack and then field pack inspection....pack all the stuffs lor into our small field pack...FBO - > Full battle order......sibei heavy....but still need to walk 8 km on mon.....well....after loading all the stuffs to tunner...was around 2300pm le.....got half an hour to wash up n get ready for lights off....tat's all for this day.....
1st Day of Field Camp ( 24th Oct ) :Well....first thing in morning was wake up wash up den went for breakfast.....Draw arms...(take Rifle) and den prepare for Route March to campsite 1...Reclaimed Land(A)....set off at 730am......reach reclaimed land around 9 to 10 plus....set up our tents.....haha......alot of mosquitoes there....but section 1 was already there because they advance party.....gotta reach campsite 1st to chase the mosquitoes away n do sai gang.....haha.....so good.....8km can die man.....after tat consume my first Combat Rations....taste okey....not so jialat like what others said....also no choice....eat curry chicken rice.....found all the food quite spicy de....think want us to Shit tat's why....after tat was lecture at outfield.....about range card n counting steps while walking to determine distance.....till nite.....eat n den slp....first nite hug my rifle to slp.....cos scared kena stolen.....tat's all...haha
2nd day of Field Camp ( 25 Oct ) : Woke up....brush teeth and den consume breakfast...around 6 plus ba....feeling tired n aching all over my body....after tat was lecture n taught how to move when contacted ( Contacted means enemy firing at u...what should u do lor.... ) called Fire Movement....and set of commands to shout out to yr men if u're the IC ( In charge ) example......contacted....we'll prone down ( lie on the ground wif rifle firing back at enemies fire direction ) Grp.....Straight Ahead...50m....TRee....enemies behind tree.....FIRE.....this set of commands is called FCO....Firers Command Order i think...haha....den loads of fun stuffs lor....we moved to new campsite ( Reclaimed land(B) ) in the noon...my section was advance party this time....we loaded all the shit things to tunner n preceed to new campsite...which was jus 2km away....shit man....haha.....after tat was dinner....den slp.....
3rd day Reclaimed land(B) (26th Oct ) :this day jus learnt leopard crawl and our section commander sergeant Shahazah told us loads of things in sispec.....like navigation exercise....going around the tekong jungle looking for checkpoints...and den also trip to taiwan....how exxx the things in taiwan is......the betelnuts gals he saw in taiwan...n how he went thru the week in taiwan....really was an ear listener for us lor.....and made us even more determined to go sispec or OCS.....Officer Cadget School....haha......slept for 2 nites here.....before proceeding for Oil Palm Plantation.....5 km away....
4th Day OC Night ,Oil Palm Plantation( 27th Oct ) : early in the morning woke up do exercise den pack stuffs to march to new campsite.....oil palm there....sianz....oil palm plantation sucks...the campsite was the worse out of 7 days...cos it rained...my tents was flooded...no choice sleep wif other people....but got to eat piping hot food as it's oc night.....actually got performance from every platoon de but cancelled cos too dark for sight le.....den we jus eat cakes....n food....den sing together in one circle.....sang qing fei de yi.. more than words....our own created song directed from hey sara sara tune....very nice...n mimic of sergeants n sirs.....v funny lor....really enjoyed ourselves that nite.......bathed in noon as well not to forget.....terrible condition....but no choice..jus bathed....haha.....
5th Day Rubber Plantation( 28th Oct ) : Route march 4 km to Campsite 4...rubber plantation....was nice.....i also 1st time lead the platoon into singing together wif my bunk mate anthony and jin ming my buddy.....haha.....was fun n sergeant was plased wif our performance....hehe.....set up our tents n den got ready for lunch....was combat rations....got loads of dirty clothings jus stuff into the bag.....always can close entirely the bag....but it's ok lor.....hmmm.....practise the fire movement wif the blanks....bullets wif sound only.....den somemore got tests lor....our sergeant Sgt Sha taught us what to do all those things....n our new to-be Pc Terrence also taught us what mistakes we made n corrected us.....waited for tests to come but day falls le....so we carry on next morning....was told we can slp at 11pm...all so happy...den fall in 8am tmr morning....but tat's not all......
6th Day Trench Digging( 29th Oct ) : Woke up by the stupid siren telling us to break our tents so tat to fall in in front of a training shelter in 15 mins time...all gan cheong....but still managed to pack the things.....some cork drop the stuffs.....me n my buddy pack everything n curse n swear the commanders lor....all so arse one......after tat all eat breakfast den got ready for the Fire movement tests......went thru smoothly only a few mistakes here n there.....after tat noon trench digging starts around 2pm.....was so tiring lor.....we marked the spots n started digging....my buddy helped me as soon as he finished.....thanks alot man...if not dunno how to dig finished ah.....we had dinner....fresh food again...shiok....but all no spoon...so pathetic....use the packet previded torn in n use as spoon...haha.....so funny n sad lor....cos like v ke lian....any way....we slept in the trench we dug in the noon this nite......last nite to BIC ( Basic Inoculation Course at Sispec ) slept very well thru the nites...till morning....
7th Day ( 30th Oct ) BIC & Back to tekong den.... :early in the morning 6am woke up bury my rubbish into the trench n covered it up....fall in around 7am.....we clean rifles den took tunner to BIC....our last stop.....over there we were brief on stuff like DOs and DON'Ts of BIC......son it was my turn to go.....our Sir was leading my detail ( group ) n we started crawling upon hearing command.....with Back to tekong n xiaoyan in head mind....i crawled as fast as i could.....heartbeat failed to give me enough power n strength to crawl thru the long 100Metres....but i jus continued....soon was back crawl...leopard crawl den back crawl......left around 25 metres of leopard crawl before reaching a drain n simulated throwing of dummy grenade to target n counted 1000 to 5000 and charging at the target....haha..........soon after tat....we washed up n was back in tekong....we sing...we shout....we cheer along the way back to tekong.....tat marks the end of my 7 long n fun filled days in outfield.....
